Royal Grand Palace and Bangkok Temples Tour

from £0 per person

This excursion combines the three most popular Buddhist Temples in Bangkok with the Royal Grand Palace. Perfect for you to see the most popular sites whilst staying in this fantastic city!

The Royal Grand Palace, a great architectural masterpiece of several buildings from the outside and a magical inside, was used as a royal residence from the 18th century to the mid-20th century. It is without doubt a national reference and possibly the most visited royal monument in Thailand, in other words a site not to be missed.

The building houses “Wat Po”, Bangkok’s oldest temple in which is located the famous gold leaf reclining Buddha? This tour also includes the temple “Wat Traimit” with its 5.5 ton Golden Buddha.

On the way back you will have the chance to see many magnificent temples and architectural buildings, for example the City Pillar Shrine, National Museum, Democracy Monument, Golden Mountain, Thai Boxing Stadium and the Parliament House along the ‘Royal Way’.

To round off the tour, we call in at the local lapidary factory and showroom where you will be able to get locally made jewellery, hand crafted items and silk.

Highlights:

  • Visit the Grand Palace and the most famous Bangkok Temples
  • Learn about Thai histories and culture
  • Get in touch with your Buddhist side
